This purpose built unit has been specially equipped with furniture and fittings that help our residents to live everyday lives and maintain independence. A specialist physio gym, Hi Lo furniture and kitchen facilities together with specialist bathrooms /wet rooms and gardens are just a few examples of how this unit has been built to meet your needs. The entire building has WiFi access and every resident has their own en-suite bedroom which they may personalise as they choose. Our main lounge area is spacious and has TV access. The cafe area provides an additional place for you to meet and chat with your visitors or make friends with other residents of the home.
Staffing levels are designed to meet peoples needs - and this means that alongside clinically qualified nurses, you will always have the support of a trained and competent team of carers who are all on duty 24 hours per day. Respite care can be provided for those whose family carers need a holiday, or simply a break in the knowledge that their loved one will be given the best care during their absence.
Our catering team will ensure that you have a wide choice of freshly prepared and nutritious meals. We can cater for all dietary needs and cultural preferences. Our domestic and laundry services will meet your needs in this area. We have excellent links with most faith based organisations and can help with accessing local churches, temples, mosque's etc. as required.
I have been here for more than a year now. I attend college. I have been helped to access education facilities. I am allowed to feel independent and in control of my life.
Situated in Southall with excellent transport links to London and the local community areas of Ealing and Uxbridge, The Grange has developed a specialist unit that meets the needs of Younger Adults living with a disability or a neuro degenerative illness. The building has been specifically refurbished to enable comfortable living in a home from home environment for those who are disabled or wheelchair dependent. Decorated to the highest standards - all of our bedrooms have the provision of ceiling mounted hoist systems that will make your moving and transfer needs as smooth as possible.
Our skilled and qualified nursing and care team are well equipped to meet the needs of those who are living with Huntingdon's disease, multiple sclerosis, who have an acquired brain injury, or who require extra support and cannot reside in their own home. Clinical care and links to specialist medical services are of the highest standard at The Grange with our nurses being competent in a wide range of clinical procedures including tracheostomy care and PEG feed situations. Our multi-sensory therapy room provides appropriate stimulation in a calming and peaceful setting.
The team are available to work with you to maintain the highest levels of independence as possible, and this is complemented with input from an occupational therapist and our activities team who work together to maximise community involvement and reintegration. As well as delivery of care in a 'family' environment, we work to support the individual social, cultural, religious and recreational interests of each resident. We help our residents learn to adapt to and make the most of their capabilities.

The Baking Club At The Grange Care Home is still going strong and now more residents are joining in and bringing new ideas, this time one of the Young Adults suggested chocolate cake in a Mug, the result was a tasty afternoon snack to go with a nice cup of tea...

There was a lot of excitement when The Grange YPD unit was chosen as a location for shooting of a film in December.
As part of the care improvement project The home has been working in collaboration with Bucks University in looking at ways to improve resident experience in the care home.
I was anxious when i first came, being so young, I’m only 27 year old. I didn’t know what to expect but I’m now settled . The staff come and spend time with me. I like making beads and they are encouraging me to start making beads again. My sister’s children can come and visit. I sit with them in the lovely lounge and colour books together.
Everyone who visits me feels welcome.
We are registered and inspected by The Care Quality Commission (CQC) and work in partnership with a number of NHS CCG’s as well as representatives from the legal profession who work to support their clients who are living with disabilities.
We will help you to access local colleges and vocational qualifications and a wide range of social activities that take place both inside and outside of the home. Your named Key worker will help you to achieve your full potential through our person centred care planning process.

I like the staff, they help me with my hair and make up every day and every day it's different. I like walking and the activities we do, especially when we went to the fun fair.
