Gardeners Club
Ashley Gardens is introducing a gardening club for our residents. We have purchased some wooden planters and some of our residents have started to hand paint them to personalise them with their arts and crafts session. We have had some raised flower beds made, and these will also be part of the gardening club for our less able residents who enjoy planning and planting.

Visit from Local Farm
Ashley Gardens enjoyed a visit from a local farm - the residents were able to hold the chicks and stroke some of the other animals, and were also given the opportunity to bottle feed one of the goats and one of the lambs their milk. It was a fantastic experience for all and for those residents who used to work in the farming industry, it provided a great opportunity for reminiscence.
