The Grange is a modern purpose built Nursing Home, tastefully decorated, providing a warm friendly environment for its residents.

Nursing Care for frail older people & those with dementia

Experienced registered nurses and care assistants, selected for their skills, operate a 24 hour service, delivering a high standard of nursing care to suit the individual. An experienced Manager supervises the day to day running of the home and ensures that the care delivered encompasses social, physical, psychological and environmental needs.

	Accommodation
	• The home is designed to provide a secure and safe environment. Lifts provide access to the residents rooms which are arranged over three floors. • All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and are equipped with telephone and television point. Residents are very welcome to bring personal possessions, such as a favourite table, chair and ornaments. • There are a variety of lounge areas, some with TV's where residents can entertain family and friends or just sit in quiet contemplation. There is also a secure garden area.

	Care
	• Individual care plans enable staff to continually monitor each resident's progress and general health. This is monitored by our Quality Controlled procedures, which have an ongoing review, to ensure practices of a very high standard. Activities A wide range of activities to suit our residents are catered for including group and individual based interests and hobbies.

	Facilities
	A hairdressing salon, managed by a professional hairdresser is available weekly. All areas of the home have disabled access. Also available is a multi-sensory stimulation room (above) which has carefully designed and selected equipment to aid relaxation for our residents, either individually, or in the company of their carers and relatives if they wish.

	Hospitality
	Visitors are welcome at any time, to our"home from home". Meals can be taken in one of the dining rooms or in the privacy of their own room. Laundry services are provided by our housekeeping team.

Meals

Freshly cooked food is prepared in the kitchen by our experienced cook in charge. Dietary needs and cultural preferences are catered for.
