  Part of the community
  The Chase Care Home is built on the site of the former Sun Printers site, it lies in a new development just off Whippendell Road in Watford. In the grounds we have designed a small and peaceful patio area with planting boxes. .


Our homes are involved in quality assessment for ISO 9001:2000 accreditation.
 
  Specialist Unit
  This self contained unit has been thoughtfully designed and purpose built to provide for 30 Younger Physically Disabled residents on the ground floor. Typically our residents circumstances are those in which they have suffered accidents or have medical conditions resulting in their being wheelchair dependant or otherwise disabled. The building provides for wheelchair access throughout.
  Furnishing
  The Home has been tastefully decorated and furnished. We encourage you to make your room 'home' by bringing in your own personal possessions and ornaments. There are a range of bedrooms and 10 have the facility for the provision of a ceiling mounted hoist. All rooms provide individual en-suite toilet and washing facilities while some have their own shower facility.

Meals are freshly prepared. Dietary needs and cultural preferences are catered for.

Dedicated computer facilities attached to the internet for enjoyment and further edcation.

Full time physiotherapy department with gym.

  Individual Care
  Each resident will be encouraged to develop with their Key Worker a Care Plan that identifies their individual care requirements and life plan goals. The Key Worker will then be able to support the resident in taking up therapeutic, recreational and educational activities within the centre and in the surrounding community.
 
  Our Activities
  co-ordinator organises a lively social programme, both inside and outside the home, and is more than pleased to hear of new suggestions and particular leisure interests. Our wide range of pastimes include arts and crafts, games, talks, and musical entertainment. Other facilities include an activities lounge.
