Welcome to Life Style Care Plc. We are a medium sized Care Home Operator with 20 years experience of caring for vulnerable service users.

Our Care Homes have almost always been built by ourselves and none are over 5 years old. We start by seeking locations that are close to local communities and facilities such as shops and public transport. Our award-winning architects work with us to create an individually designed living environment that exceeds the Commission for Social Care Inspection regulations on quality standards.

All our Care Homes provide accommodation for older people whose physical infirmity prevents them remaining at home, but who still enjoy their memories and can appreciate the stimulation of family and friends and a busy programme of activities.

Dementia Care
The Chase, Princess Lodge, Deepdene, Sovereign Lodge, The Grange and Ashley Gardens.
Dementia is the most common mental illness in older people leading to impaired memory, impaired reasoning and impaired ability to learn, plus high levels of stress. Our specialist units are designed to compensate for the above improvements and our staff are trained to encourage service users to continue with their daily life and activities in a domestic non institutional atmosphere.

Younger People with Disabilities
The Chase, The Grange and Ashley Gardens.
We have designed specialist units to care for service users with conditions such as brain injury, Huntington's Disease or Parkinson's Disease. Each service user will be encouraged to develop a care plan that identifies their individual care requirements and life plan goals. The central goal is to maintain each service user's independence and ensure the role of family and friends remains central to their lives.

History
Life Style Care Plc has a proven track record within the care industry. The company was formed in 1987 and sold its entire portfolio of 24 homes (1,204 beds) in 1998 to NHP plc. Over the next 9 years the company rebuilt the portfolio to 26 care homes and in February 2007 sold 23 of these (1,730 beds) to Southern Cross Healthcare plc. Life Style Care currently operate and manage over 600 beds in the Southern Home Counties and is currently looking to acquire the management of in excess of a further 200 new build beds.
